Match 16 to Take Place Between RPS and RCB
The 16th match of the VIVO IPL 2016 will take place between the Rising Pune Supergiants and the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Being a new team, this is the first match in which the Rising Pune Supergiants will be playing host.
Rising PUne Supergiants, with MS Dhoni as their skipper, won their first match against the Mumbai Indians who are the defending champions. After a promising start, the team continued to make a decent number of runs, but was still beaten by Kings XI Punjab and Gujarat Lions.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore have not been having an easy time with three key players out of action. Both Samuel Badree and Mitchell Starc are out injured, and Chris Gayle went home for the birth of his child. While Gayle will be missed, the team does have a good batting line-up for Friday’s match.
The match will take place at the MCA International Stadium in Pune.
