India v Australia- Third ODI Odds and Betting Preview
India stand on the brink of overall victory after just two games of this ODI series. A win in Ranchi on Friday will subsequently give the hosts an unassailable lead. While both matches have been low scoring affairs, Australia’s nerve hasn’t quite held at the death. But who do the 3rd ODI odds for India v Australia favour?
All three of our tips landed for Tuesday’s game in Nagpur, so let’s see if we can build on that run.
What are the 3rd ODI odds for India v Australia?
If you took a Satta on the match in Nagpur, then the following odds will look almost identical. India are clear favourites for the win on Friday and can be picked up at 1.44 with Betway. Australia is available at 2.75.
Both wins have been tight and there is a theory that the Aussies can improve and get back into this series. But equally, there is still plenty more to come from India. Aside from Virat Kohli, the top order have yet to find form and that could be a concern for Australian fans.
At this stage, we feel that we’re looking at a 4-1 overall scoreline. Nevertheless, Australia will have to wait to claim their consolation win.
Match Odds Summary: India 1.44 (Betway – Editor’s Pick), Australia 2.75
What are the top batsman 3rd ODI odds for India v Australia?
Kohli gave us the profit in Nagpur with his 40th ODI century and that contribution was the difference between the two sides. The skipper was at odds of 3.25 in India’s top batsman market that day. He now shortens to 3.00 for Friday’s contest.
Rohit Sharma follows at 4.00, and then we have Shikhar Dhawan at 4.75. Elsewhere, MS Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav both found their touch in the first ODI and you can pick up Jadhav at 9.00 and Dhoni at 11.00. Other options here might include Rishabh Pant at 7.00, and Ambati Rayudu at 7.50.
Marcus Stoinis top scored for Australia on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Aaron Finch finally found some touch after a wretched run of form. In the Aussies’ top batsman market for Ranchi, Finch is now joint favourite, along with Usman Khawaja. Both of those men can be picked up at 4.75.
There will be renewed interest in Stoinis at 6.00. Other options for the visitors include Shaun Marsh (5.00), Glenn Maxwell (6.00) and Peter Handscomb (7.00).
Those odds of 11.00 on MS Dhoni really stand out and they may be worth a small wager. Our overall tip, however, is on Rohit Sharma. A duck in the second ODI on Tuesday isn’t encouraging. Nonetheless, the opener won’t be out of form for long and we expect him to make the biggest contribution in Ranchi.
Top Batsman Odds Summary: Kohli 3.00, Rohit Sharma 4.00 (Betway – Editor’s Pick), Dhawan 4.75, Pant 7.00, Rayudu 7.50, Jadhav 9.00, Dhoni 11.00.
Australia: Finch 4.75, Khawaja 4.75, Marsh 5.00, Maxwell 6.00, Stoinis 6.00, Handscomb 7.00.
What are the top bowler 3rd ODI odds for India v Australia?
If you’d taken a Satta in India’s top bowler markets for the first two games, then you’d find the profits delivered by Mohammed Shami and Kuldeep Yadav, respectively. Jasprit Bumrah has been in good touch, too, taking two wickets in each game to make a key contribution.
We are looking to back Bumrah to build on those two games and return best figures in a winning Indian cause on Friday. Kuldeep Yadav is the predictable favourite at 3.50 with Bet365. However, Jasprit Bumrah offers good value as the second favourite at 3.75.
India Top Bowler odds Summary: Kuldeep Yadav 3.50, Bumrah 3.75 (Bet365 – Editor’s Pick), Chahal 4.00, Shami 4.50, Kaul 5.00, Jadeja 5.00, Shankar 7.00.
