India Beats Afghanistan on Day 2 of Test

India has beaten Afghanistan on the second day of the Test match between the two countries. India made 474 runs, beating Afghanistan by an innings and 262 runs. The win was the biggest ever innings win for the Indian team.

India opened with batting, and had a strong start on the first day. India began with 347/6 from the first day of play, and added another 127 runs on day two. India’s openers Murali Vijay, and Shikhar Dhawan both made centuries. Dhawan reached 107 runs, and Vijay made 105.

Afghanistan managed to accumulate just 109 runs in their first essay, and only 103 in their second. The Afghanistan cricket team definitely has potential although they have must to learn about playing Tests.

India’s more experienced bowlers, Umesh Yadav and Ishant Sharma made quick work of dismissing the opposing team.
