India vs England ODIs Coming Soon
India is getting ready for the next part of their UK tour, the three-match One Day International series. The first match takes place on Thursday 12th July 2018 at Trent Bridge. Match two is set for the weekend on Saturday 14th July at Lord’s. The final ODI is to be played at Headingley Carnegie on Tuesday 17th July.
After a good start to the UK tour, India is going into the ODIs with confidence. The ODI series should be exciting since both teams are in top ODI form. The Indian national team has won 27 ODIs in the past year. England recently beat Australia with 5 – 0 in the playing the 50-overs ODI format.
While both teams are good at the bat, England is somewhat weaker at bowling at this time. India showed some excellent bowling in the T20s. England will most likely have a hard time batting against India’s Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal, both wrist spinners.
World Cup in England in 2019
Next year, the ICC 2019 World Cup will take place in England. India’s current tour of England, which includes T20s, ODIs, and Tests, will stand the team in good stead for the World Cup next year. The World Cup team is likely to include many of the same players. This gives the team the chance at a trial run before the World Cup comes around.
