Rising Pune Supergiant are to be taking their first shot at an IPL final, and are also focusing on a win. The two teams are looking towards taking home the trophy on Sunday, May 21st at the final match in Hyderabad.
The 10th IPL is almost over. It has certainly been exciting so far, in the lead up to the final match. The teams have been playing hard, giving a number of players the chance to shine.
In the three matches that Rising Pune Supergiant have played against Mumbai Indians, the up and coming team have come out on top winning all three matches. Not only has Rising Pune Supergiant been playing well. With Mumbai Indians playing against a team they have only lost to during this Indian Premier League, may well give Rising Pune Supergiant a psychological boost.
Rising Pune Supergiant players have had a few days to rest. Since the played by Rising Pune Supergiant took place on Tuesday, 16th May, and Mumbai Indians played their previous match on Friday, 19th May, the team is certainly more rested than the Mumbai team.
While Mumbai Indians have only won two IPLs, their skipper, Rohit Sharma, has already won three. In addition to the two wins with his current team, Sharma also won the IPL when he was playing with Deccan Chargers in 2009. If his team wins this year, he will have one a record four matches.
The final match will soon be played, and is expected to be some exciting cricket.
