Kolkata Knight Riders Have an Advantage Over Sunrisers Hyderabad
Qualifier 2 is taking place at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. This gives the Kolkata Knight Riders the advantage of playing on their home turf.
Kuldeep Yadav, a Kolkata Knight Riders bowler, has noted that the Sunrisers Hyderabad may struggle to adjust to the pitch. Yadav explained that the Kolkata team finds it easy to play on their home ground in familiar conditions. Sunrisers Hyderabad recently played in Mumbai at the Wankhede Stadium where the wicket is quite different.
Kuldeep commented: “For us, it’s very easy to play here. It’s home ground for us. We are very used to the conditions. Obviously, it will be difficult for them to come from Mumbai and play here. The wicket is totally different here from Mumbai where it has true bounce. Here it helps the spinners. It will be a good contest.”
