Two division champ and the GOAT in the women’s division, Amanda Nunes returns to defend her bantamweight championship. She takes on fellow Brazilian and submission specialist Juliana Pena who is the biggest underdog when it comes to UFC 269 odds. Pena fought hard to get this fight and is confident she can take the belt from Nunes.
We don’t think that’s going to be possible because Nunes is definitely a better boxer and has shown she has KO power. Pena’s only chance is to take Nunes down and try to submit her, which isn’t going to be easy as Nunes is going to be the bigger and stronger fighter.
Nunes packs a lot of power in her punches and will look to finish the fight in the first two rounds. If Pena can get the fight into the third round, she will be more confident and have a better chance of winning. We are going to back Amanda Nunes to retain her belt and win by KO.
