2020 Lanka Premier League Results

The inaugural edition of the LPL was played among five teams in a round-robin format where each team faced an opponent twice before the semi-finals. Ultimately, Jaffna Stallions beat the Galle Gladiators in the final by 53 runs to be crowned the inaugural champions of LPL. Jaffna had beaten Dambulla Viiking by 37 runs in the second semifinal.

Gladiators’ Danushka Gunathilaka topped the league batting charts by scoring 476 runs in 10 games at an average of 59.50 with four fifties and a strike rate of 144.68. With the ball, leggie Wanindu Hasaranga of the Stallions topped the wickets tally with 17 scalps in 10 games at an average of 11.29 and a remarkable economy rate of 5.18.
