We think it’s a bad move as Wade should be leading from the front with the bat and leading by example. When the captain struggles, the team generally struggles as well. If Matthew Wade does not change the batting order or once again struggles to get runs, it will be very difficult for Australia to win.
Bangladesh have bowled really well but know they need to do little more with the bat. The two games have been low scoring affairs but have also been closely contested. Bangladesh need a little more from the premier all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and their captain Mahmudullah.
Mahmudullah came in at 4 in the first T20 and went down to 5 in the second T20. We think that just like the Aussie captain, Mahmudullah needs to bat at 4 and take control of the innings early on.
