UFC fans continue to get spoiled in 2021 as the premier MMA organization in the world continues to bring fans exciting action inside the Octagon every week. The UFC Fight Night card on March 20 will take place in the UFC Apex Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Main Event will feature a fight between Derek Brunson and Kevin Holland.
Derek Brunson vs. Kevin Holland
Derek Brunson is ranked number 7 in the middleweight division and a lot of fighters have considered him to be the gatekeeper to getting a title shot. Brunson certainly does not hold that view after his last fight which was an impressive KO over the young and impressive Edmen Shahbazyan in August 2020.
Brunson will now have to face the number 10 ranked middleweight in Kevin ‘Big Mouth’ Holland. Holland has lived up to his nick name and has talked a lot of smack on social media in the lead up to this fight. It’s in Holland’s nature to talk both outside and inside the Octagon and we will have to wait and see if the thrash talk gets into Brunson’s head and impacts his performance.
Bet365 have Holland as the favorite with odds of 1.58 to Brunson’s 2.40. Holland is coming off an impressive KO win over Jacare D’Souza and is keen on getting past Brunson and taking on a top 5 opponent. Holland had an incredible 2020 winning all 5 of his fights and establishing himself as a breakout star in the UFC.
This can turn out to be a closely contested fight especially if it goes into rounds 4 and 5. Holland has never headlined a UFC Main Event and can fatigue in the later rounds. We go with the bookmakers and predict that Holland will get the better of Brunson.

Gregor Gillespie vs. Brad Riddell
Gregor Gillespie was one of the hottest prospects in the UFC’s lightweight division until he suffered a stunning KO by Kevin Lee in November 2019. Gillespie hasn’t fought till then as he took the loss hard and was determined to work on his weaknesses. He has a tough opponent in Brad Riddell who has a 9-1 record in MMA.
Riddell’s last fight was in September 2020 when he defeated Alex da Silva Coelho by decision. The fight against Gregor Gillespie will be the biggest challenge of his career till date. Gillespie will go in as the favorite with odds of 1.44 while Riddell is the underdog with odds of 2.87.
We are going to back Gillespie to win this one as we believe his wrestling skills will get the better of Riddell.
Tai Tuivasa vs. Don’Tale Mayes
Tai Tuivasa stopped his string of losses with a win over Stefan Struve in October 2020. The Aussie heavyweight will now take on Don’Tale Mayes in what should be an exciting fight as both fighters like to stand and bang. Tuivasa goes in as the betting favorite with odds of 1.44 while Don’Tale Mayes is the underdog with odds of 2.87.
Tai Tuivasa has taken his MMA career a lot more seriously in 2020 and our experts believe he will get the job done against Don’Tale Mayes.
