The International Cricket Council (ICC) has come out with the T20 World Cup schedule that will commence with the fringe nations playing in Round 1 games that start on October 17. The big guns will then start their competition with the Super 12 stage from 23 October. All of these games will take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

A total of 8 teams have already been selected for the Super 12s stage. The other four teams that qualify through the Round 1 playoffs will later be added to the two groups to make it 6 per group. For now, Group 1 definitely looks a lot stronger than Group 2 based on our expert’s opinion.
Group 1 – Will see Ashes rivals England and Australia together along with the West Indies and South Africa.
