The UFC continues to hold stacked fight cards every weekend at the UFC Apex Center in Las Vegas. The next card that MMA fans are looking forward to is a UFC Fight Night card that will be headlined by Jairzinho Rozenstruik vs. Cyril Gane on Feb 27.
If you like watching the UFC and want to have a crack at betting on some of these fight cards, you can do so at any of the below sportsbooks.
Rozenstruik vs. Gane
Jairzinho Rozenstruik vs. Cyril Gane was initially scheduled to take place earlier in the year but the fight was postponed and has now ended up as the Main Event. Rozenstruik is currently ranked in 5th place while Gane is in 7th place making this a very interesting fight for the fans.
Rozenstruik has gone 5-1 in the UFC and is the betting underdog at Bet365 with odds of 9/4. His only loss in the UFC is at the hands of Francis Ngannou who has been a training partner of Cyril Gane in the past. Gane is the betting favorite with odds of 4/11.
Rozenstruik’s best chance of a win is if the fight remains on the feet as he has incredible power in his hands. However, Gane is also an excellent striker and also has a solid chin. The advantage goes to Gane when it comes to the ground game as Gane has shown he can also win by submission when he wants. If the fight goes past the third round, it might also favour Gane as Rozenstruik’s cardio might not hold up.
We agree with the bookmakers on this one and believe that Gane will win and keep his record unblemished.
Krylov vs. Ankalaev
The co-main event will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout between Nikita Krylov and Magomed Ankalaev. The 9th ranked Krylov is ahead of Ankalaev who is in 11th place on the UFC rankings but the bookmakers have Ankalaev as a heavy betting favorite with odds of 2/7 while Krylov has odds of 11/4.
Ankalaev has a great record with 15 fights and just 1 loss. Krylov is the more experienced fighter with a total of 34 fights and 7 losses. Krylov is coming off a great win over hot prospect Johnny Walker in March 2020 and is a dangerous fighter. Ankalaev hasn’t really been tested in the UFC and if Krylov has a good day at the office, he might cause another upset.
We are going to play it safe on this one and bet on Ankalaev.
Munhoz vs. Rivera
Expect both fighters to go hard at it from the minute the bell rings in the exciting bantamweight fight. Pedro Munhoz goes in as the underdog with 5/4 betting odds while Jimmie Rivera has odds of 4/6. We are little surprised to see Munhoz as the underdog but given the fact that he is coming off two losses, we can understand.
Rivera won his last fight against Cody Stamann and will want to get another win under his belt. However, we will go against the bookmakers on this one and back Munhoz to win.
Other Fights
There are a number of other exciting fights on the preliminary card as well. Alexander Hernandez vs. Thiago Moises will headline the prelims in a lightweight showdown. Hernandez goes in as the favorite (8/15) after his impressive win in his last fight while Moises is the underdog at (13/8). We expect Hernandez to be able to pull off another win.
You can also keep your eye out for Angela Hill (3/10) vs. Ashley Yoder (5/2) and Marion Reneau (7/4) vs. Macy Chiasson (10/21).
