The Sunrisers are 10-4 up on the head-to-head over the years, which is hardly surprising. They’ve been one of the strongest and most consistent IPL sides over the years. Kings XI Punjab have arguably been the weakest side of any since the IPL started. SRH’s dominance has been even greater since 2015 with Hyderabad winning eight times to Punjab winning just two.

No wonder the bookmakers are making Warner’s men favourites but at 1.8 on Betway, maybe they’re not short enough. The Sunrisers look the better side both individually and collectively so it should pay to side with the favourites here. You can place your IPL satta on SRH in this game.

SRH Players To Watch Out For

Part of the Sunrisers’ problems is that Warner isn’t scoring quite as many runs as normal. The same can be said for opening partner Jonny Bairstow. This is normally the partnership that does a lot of the hard work in the batting department. But there’s still a long way to go and for these two to really pile on the runs. Warner scored his first fifty of the tournament last time out so maybe that’s a sign of things to come.

With the ball, it’s all about Rashid Khan, as per usual. Five wickets from five games is solid rather than spectacular but that’s somewhat missing the point. He’s been going at just over 5 an over, which is absolutely exceptional by T20 standards.

They will however have to do without Bhuvi Kumar who has been ruled out of IPL 2020 with an injury, a huge blow to the side.

KXIP Players To Watch Out For

If this edition of IPL ends in failure once again, it certainly won’t be the fault of openers KL Rahul (302 runs) or Mayank Agarwal (272), who are ranked first and third for most runs this IPL. There have been some decent contributions from Nicholas Pooran. But everyone else, especially Glenn Maxwell, has been really poor with the bat.

The bowlers have been no better. Mohammed Shami has been superb, with eight wickets and an economy rate of just over 8. But everyone else has been expensive, particularly in the death overs. They should think about bringing in Mujeeb Ur Rahman for Chris Jordan. A world-class spinner could make a big difference, especially one who can bowl in the powerplay overs.
