The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi for its UFC 267 card. It will take place at the Etihad Arena on Oct 30. The relationship between the UFC and Abu Dhabi continues to get stronger. UFC is using Yas Island as its international base to host fights outside the United States.
UFC 267 is going to be unique because this is the first time in a long time that the UFC is hosting a numbered event that is a non-pay-per-view card. Since this is a non-pay per view card, do keep in mind that this card will start a lot earlier than usual, if you are watching from the United States or from Europe.
UFC 267 Fight Card
Most UFC fight cards and pay-per-view cards tend to feature around 13 to 14 fights but UFC 267 is set to feature 15 fights. The prelims will host nine of these fights and the main card will host the remaining six. There are two main reasons why the UFC has decided to stack this card with 15 fights.
The first reason is that the UFC wants to get as many international fighters as possible to compete on Yas Island because it is difficult for international fighters to get into the United States due to ongoing concerns with COVID-19. The United States plans to ease international travel restrictions only on Nov 8.
The second reason is that the UFC wants to have a buffer in place in case one or two of the fights fall through at the last minute. The UFC has had to deal with fighters or members of their camp contracting COVID-19 during fight week and pulling out.
UFC 267 features a number of great fights on the main card. This card is truly an international fight card as it features fighters from all over the world including Poland, Russia, Brazil, China, Finland, France, New Zealand, and Sweden.
Apart from the two main title fights, you also want to keep an eye out for the return of Khamzat Chimaev who had a great run with the UFC. Chimaev was on the verge of becoming the next big UFC star when COVID-19 took him out and kept him out for over a year.
This card also features an exciting lightweight bout between Islam Makhachev and Dan Hooker. Makhachev will be cornered by former UFC lightweight champ Khabib Nurmagomedov and is a massive betting favorite.

UFC 267 ODDS: Blachowicz vs Teixeira odds
The main event for UFC 267 will be for the light heavyweight championship. Jan Blachowicz will look to defend his title for the second time against the wily veteran in Glover Teixeira.
Blachowicz’s first title defense was against UFC middleweight champ Israel Adesanya who moved up to light-heavyweight to see if he could become a two-division champ. The Polish power was too much for Adesanya and Blachowicz ended up winning by decision.
His second title fight is definitely going to be a much bigger challenge as Teixeira is a true light heavyweight. The last time Teixeira fought for the UFC light heavyweight title was back in April 2014 when he challenged the champ Jon Jones and ended up losing by decision. It’s taken the Brazilian 7 years to get another title fight and he is determined to finish his career with a UFC belt.
The champ Blachowicz is the betting favorite as he has the ability to end the fight with one punch. However, the 41-year-old Teixeira has shown that he has a good chin and can take a punch from a heavy hitter. His best chance at winning is to take Blachowicz to the ground and submit him.
UFC 267 odds on Bet365 have Glover Teixeira at 3.40 to win the fight against Blachowicz. Even though Teixeira is an underdog for this fight, we are going to back him to win because we believe he has enough tools in his repertoire to do well in the stand-up and find the takedown when it matters and submit the champ.
Recommended Tip: Glover Teixeria win.

UFC 267 ODDS: Yan vs Sandhagen odds
Most UFC fans consider Petr Yan the unofficial UFC bantamweight champion. Yan lost his belt at UFC 259 to Aljamain Sterling by disqualification after Yan threw an illegal knee that made it difficult for Sterling to continue. The two were supposed to run that fight back at UFC 267 but Sterling pulled out due to an injury.
The UFC decided to get Petr Yan to fight Cory Sandhagen for an interim bantamweight title that will be the co-main event for this card. Yan goes in as the betting favorite and rightly so as he has such a great all-around game. His striking is exceptional, with great speed and precision. His takedown defense is world-class and he has a great ground game that hasn’t been showcased so far.
UFC 267 odds on Bet365 have Petr Yan at 1.33 to win the fight against Sandhagen. While Sandhagen is great on his feet, we believe that Yan’s pace, cardio, and precision will be a bit too much for him to handle. We back Yan to win this fight and become the interim bantamweight champion.
Recommended Tip: Petr Yan win.
