The UFC has put together a series of hard hitting MMA cards in February. The next fight card will once again take place at the UFC Apex Center in Las Vegas on Feb 20. The fight card will be headlined by a heavyweight clash between Curtis ‘Razor’ Blaydes and Derrick ‘The Blackbeast’ Lewis.
There are a number of exciting fights on the UFC Fight Night card. We give you our expert predictions for four fights on this card. See if you can use them to your advantage and come out a winner. If you are looking to bet on UFC fights, you can do so below.
Curtis Blaydes vs. Derrick Lewis
Curtis Blaydes is the number 3 ranked heavyweight fighter in the world and is the betting favorite with odds of 3/10. The Black Beast is ranked number 9 and is the betting underdog with odds of 3/1. The winner of this fight will take a big step towards establishing themselves as one of the main contenders for the UFC heavyweight championship.
Blaydes hasn’t lost in the last two years and he has had to face some tough opponents. Lewis has won his last three fights and was the one who called out Curtis Blaydes. They say style makes fights and this one is going to be an interesting fight. Blaydes is known for his wrestling and his takedowns while Lewis is known for his one punch KO power.
Blaydes has only two losses in the UFC and both of them come at the hands of Francis Ngannou who is a power puncher. Derrick Lewis has that the same KO power and it will all come down to whether Lewis can put Blaydes lights out quickly.
We are going to back the bookmakers and put our money on Blaydes as his fight IQ has improved tremendously and should be able to wear down Lewis with his takedowns and win by decision or submission.
Ketlen Vieira vs. Yana Kunitskaya
This is the co-main event and Ketlen Vieira is the favorite with odds of 4/11 vs. Yana Kunitskaya who has odds of 9/4. Vieira is ranked number 7 in the bantamweight division and Kunitskaya is not far behind at number 9. Vieira has only one loss on her record and is the favorite to win here because she has a better game both on the feet and on the ground.
We would put our money on Vieira and back her to win by decision.
Alekesi Oleinik vs. Chris Daukaus
This is another heavyweight bout on the main card featuring the veteran Oleinik against the 31 year old Daukaus. Oleinik goes in as the underdog with odds of 13/8 while Daukaus is the favorite with odds of 4/7.
We are going to go against the bookmakers for this one and put our money on Alekesi Oleinik due to his experience. The 43 year old has 64 fights in his MMA career so far and fought thrice in 2020 winning 2 and losing 1. He is a master of submissions and we think he can get the better of Daukaus, if he does not get caught.
Andrei Arlovski vs. Tom Aspinall
This is another heavyweight clash involving a veteran fighter in former UFC champ Andrei Arlovski against the 27 year old Tom Aspinall. Arlovski is the underdog with odds of 9/4 while Aspinall has odds of 2/5. We are going to bet against the bookmakers for this one as well and back the experienced Arlovski to go the distance and win by decision.
There are a number of other exciting fights on this UFC card. If you would like to bet regularly on UFC fights, you can do so at Betway.
