The UFC just finished hosting a spectacular pay per view card in Jacksonville, Florida which saw over 15,000 fans show up in attendance to watch UFC 261. The UFC will now head back to the UFC Apex Center in Las Vegas to host a Fight Night card on May 1. The card will be headlined by a Main Event featuring Dominick Reyes vs. Jiri Prochazka.
This is one of the few Fight Night cards that the UFC has scheduled in 2021 that is not generating a lot of interest. However, there are a few fights that should excite the fans. Our MMA experts take a look at these three fights, break them down and share their predictions as to which fighter you should look to put your money on.

Reyes vs. Prochazka
This Main Event fight is flying under the radar because there is not enough of buzz around Jiri Prochazka. This is because the Czech fighter only made his debut in 2020 and has had just one fight in the UFC. However, Prochazka made an impressive debut against former UFC lightheavyweight title challenger Volkan Oezdemir whom he finished in the second round.
Prochazka’s next challenge is going to be even tougher as he gets to fight Dominic Reyes who fought for the UFC lightheavyweight title in his last fight and lost to Jan Blachowicz. Bet365 has Reyes as the underdog for this fight with odds of 2.10 and Prochazka is the betting favorite with odds of 1.72.
UFC fans know what Dominic Reyes brings to the table. He has great striking, good cardio and is very athletic. However, Prochazka is an unknown quantity for UFC fans as this is just his second fight in the UFC. The 28 year old has a background in Muay Thai and is also a great striker as he showed in his last fight against Oezdemir.
This is going to be a 5 round fight but it is highly unlikely that it will go the distance. The big question is whether Dominic Reyes can bounce back after two back to back losses in his career. To put things into perspective, those losses came at the hands of Jon Jones and current champ Jan Blachowicz. Will Reyes be able to put those losses behind him or will it have an impact on his fight against Prochazka?
If Reyes can put it behind him, he should be able to walk away with a win. If he cannot, he will likely suffer his third defeat. We are going to bet on Reyes for this one as we think he has made the adjustments in his game to be ready to take on a tough challenge in Prochazka.
Swanson vs. Chikadze
The co-main event will see UFC veteran Cub Swanson take on the impressive Giga Chikadze. This is going to be a banger as Chikadze rates himself as the best striker in the UFC’s featherweight division and Cub Swanson never backs down from a fist fight. If this fight lasts all three rounds, it could go Swanson’s way as Chikadze has shown in previous fights that he slows down towards the end of the second and third round.
Chikadze is the heavy betting favorite with odds of 1.50 while Swanson is at 2.70. We are going to put our money on Swanson.
Cutelaba vs. Jacoby
Ion Cuterlaba took this fight on short notice against Dustin Jacoby. Cutelaba is the slight favorite with odds of 1.80 while Jacoby has odds of 2.00. We are going to put our money on Cutelaba for this one as we think he is the better striker.
